There are two ways to participate in the AAHA Helping Pets Fund Gift Program – through direct donations or through purchase of prepaid gift cards.
The AAHA Helping Pets Fund Gift Program offers a meaningful way to help pets in need, and grow your practice in the process. Each gift demonstrates your commitment to improving the welfare of pets. In addition, participating practices benefit in the following ways:
- With every gift, you’ll help to build client loyalty — pet owners are deeply touched when they learn that a gift to the AAHA Helping Pets Fund has been made in honor of their companion.
- All contributions are tax-deductible. (Please check with your tax advisor for specifics on how deductibility can benefit your practice.)
- Participating practices will be acknowledged through the Fund’s newsletter, website, and annual report.
- Participating practices will receive an invitation to the annual AAHA Helping Pets Fund recognition event and private reception.
- The AAHA Helping Pets Fund logo will be available upon request so you can proudly display it in your newsletter or website.
How to participate
You can participate in the Gift Program any number of ways. You can honor a deceased patient through a memorial gift or welcome a new arrival into a client’s home through a commemorative gift. Or you can make a gift to honor a loyal client, send a holiday greeting to a client, or recognize a valued employee — the only limit to the context for giving is your imagination.
For gifts of $10 or more, we will mail a personalized acknowledgement correspondence to your client or other honoree to let them know of your generosity. Program participants consistently report how touched their clients are when they learn that a gift was made in their pet’s honor.
